For the bank holiday weekend I took a trip with one of my favourite people to Newquay in Cornwall. We were lucky with the weather, so it was relaxed few days of walking along the coastline and enjoying some much needed sunshine. As is the case with most trips I take, we spent most of our time eating, talking about food and admiring the view.
I’ve long been fascinated by photography. It helps having lived with photographers for most of my life – first my step-dad, then a lovely university housemate who I’m now living with again. They’re always around to introduce you to photographers, help you with your new camera, go to exhibitions with you and, sometimes, ask you to get into the freezing Cornish sea in January to take your portrait (this is less fun, but makes for a great story. And a great photograph).
