So it’s somehow June already. Not sure I’m quite happy with being half way through the year already, it comes around so quickly doesn’t it? I think May is one of my favourite months. I love the moment when it rains after a few days of sun and suddenly everything is green and luscious. I even noticed it in London this year, the area where I live burst into life seemingly overnight. This May was filled with a few short trips and trying to spend as much time outside enjoying the sunshine as possible.

Catching Up February - Gem stones

How is it March already? I’m half thinking ‘where has the time gone?’ and half feeling so glad February is over and we are that small bit closer to spring. I feel like most of the people I know are struggling at the moment, the dark mornings and cold weather are taking their toll. I’m mostly trying to think ahead to warm sunshine and longer days but, in the mean time, here’s how I’ve been spending my time.

Cosmonauts Exhibition at the Science Museum

After months of talking about it (seriously, it’s been on since September…), I finally got round to going to Cosmonauts: Birth of the Space Age at the Science Museum last weekend. I first heard about it way back in June and was instantly interested. For one thing the era is fascinating, and I mean, who isn’t entranced by space? The exhibition reveals the historical and cultural impact of Russian space travel, from the launch of Sputnik in 1957, to dogs in space, to Yuri Gagarin, and beyond.
